Beechwood OP mental health ward poster
Beechwood ward is an 18 bedded OPMH ward that has low levels of restrictive practice. We chose to focus on increasing the opportunities for more section 17 and other leave from the ward for our patients. We collected data, spoke to patients and families and focused on this within our safety huddles. We have so far seen an increase in leave for our patients of 54%.
